The Meeting will be an important moment of update in cardiovascular disease. Scientific Contributions
The participants wishing to contribute to the scientific program are invited to submit abstracts


Condition of submission:
The abstract has to indicate the title, the author's full names, the institution and the complete address
The presenting author must be listed as first author
The presenting author/presenter is subject to registration to the Meeting
The address for correspondance must be the address of first author/presenter
Each author may submit one abstract as first author only, but may be co-author of other abstracts
Abstract, at least 200 words, has to be sent:

Abstracts submitted by fax cannot be accepted
Abstracts must be submitted in English
Abstracts must be sent to the Organizing Secreteriat by: March 30, 2002
Acceptance will be notified by April 15, 2002


Official Languages
Italian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided


Slide Center
A slide center will be provided. All the technical equipments have to be handed to the slide center at least one hour before the beginning of the own presentation


Technical Exhibition
A technical exhibition will be located in the Meeting area.
It will display scientific products, technical equipments, scientific books and journals


Attendance Certificate
At the end of the Meeting an attendance certificate will be issued to all registered
participants showing the badge


E.C.M. (Continuing Medical Education )
The request of accreditation is in progress.
The number of granted ECM credits will be printed on the attendance certificate.
Only registered participants will obtain ECM credits. The number of ECM credits
provided to the participants will be proportional to the number of attended sessions. Participants will prove their attendance to a session by a signed questionnaire concerning the session topics.
To obtain the attendance certificate it is obligatory:
- to fill in the Final Testing, the Questionnaire at the end of each Session and the
Valuation Form, printed on the Final Program that will be given out at the Meeting
- to wear the badge during all the Meeting
- to show the own badge at the moment to take the attendance certificate
- to fill in the Registration Form enclosed in the Program with all personal data requested

The Organizing Secretariat has reserved, at special rates, a number of rooms in several Hotels in Bologna. To make a reservation is necessary: or to fill in the enclosed form and return it by April 30, 2002, together with hotel deposit equal to the price of one night plus euro 18,00 as booking fee, or to connect to our site: www.csrcongressi.com
After this date, reservation will be made upon request. Reservation will be processed only if completed with payment and confirmed by fax or letter by CSR Congressi, Booking Office. No phone reservation will be processed.

The hotel bill, including the hotel deposit, will be invoiced directly by the hotel.

Hotels and Prices
The Hotels are located near the Meeting Venue in the city centre.
As the number of the single rooms is restricted, if the single room are finished, CSR Congressi Srl will allot the double single room at the moment of the reservation. At the moment of the reservation CSR Congressi Srl will send a letter to confirm it.
In case of no show at the date of the scheduled arrival, the Hotel will cash as penalty the payment of the first night. Please advise the Hotel by fax, by e-mail or by letter, in case of delay of your arrival, the Hotel will be free to sell the room at 12,00 h. of the first day not covered by the deposit
